Education
Education is the #1 resource that The Work Center provides to prevent workplace injury. We regularly offer seminars and specialty courses designed to help your employees avoid injury. Again, this provides an amazing benefit to all parties involved. Workers will learn about the potential injuries and risks associated with each job, and how to avoid them. Employers will learn how to reduce workers' compensation claims by taking a hands-on approach to avoiding injury. Insurance companies will gain valuable insight needed to encourage employers to implement injury prevention measures, and reduce the number of injury-related claims pay-outs.

Avoiding work-related injury is all about being proactive and taking steps to minimize risks, to work smarter and better. The steps can be small, simple ones like changing the height of your chair or moving your workstation to a different location on the line. Or the steps can be large-scale changes that involve plant layout, tooling and corporate policy. Whatever the case may be, you can't take a step until you know why - and until you know where you're going. And it all starts with education. The Work Center believes that injury prevention education is the first step to reducing on-the-job injuries and managing workers' compensation costs. We help employers and workers take that step, providing the education you need to ensure that the steps you take are forward, not backwards.
